Description
The second version of the project, WE AfriHug 2019, took place from 1st of February 2019 until 31st of May 2019. The project aims to promote Erasmus+ and widen participation of African HEIs and CSOs. It was implemented in Ethiopia, Uganda, Nigeria and Ghana and organized Training Seminars at HEIs and CSOs. This time, WE AfriHug team joined forces with the garagErasmus Foundation and the Erasmus Mundus Association, in order to develop and implement the project with the representatives of the African countries on the ground. This edition was funded by the Erasmus+ Students & Alumni Association.
Objectives
- To raise awareness about Erasmus+ and inform HEIs and CSOs about mobility and partnership opportunities
- To guide HEIs and CSOs and to provide capacity building for successful applications
- To create partnerships between African & European HEIs and CSOs.
